A perennial tussock grass found across Australia. Forms elegant arching clumps of blue-green foliage that turn rich red-brown in autumn. Distinctive pendulous seed heads with long awns. Once the dominant grass of Australian grasslands, it is excellent for restoration, revegetation, and ornamental landscaping.

Cold stratify for 6 weeks in the fridge before sowing. Surface sow and press into moist seed mix. Keep at 20-30°C. Germination is irregular. Can be slow — patience is key.
